What is a consulate?
It is an office dependent on the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Bolivia, which has the function of representing and protecting the interests of the State and Bolivian citizens who are abroad. For this reason, and without fear of exclusion, every Bolivian citizen has the right to be assisted by their Consulates and to access their services.
The Bolivian Embassies in countries where there are no Consulates, have an official responsible for the consular section, who performs the same functions.
