DEATH RECORD
It is the request made before the Civil Registry Officer to register the death of a relative.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passport or identity card of the deceased's relative. A third person may register the death through a Special Power granted by the relative.
- Death certificate duly Apostilled.
- Translated death certificate. The Death Certificate must be translated into Spanish, the Consulate General of Bolivia in Washington DC may perform the translation (See translation procedure).
COST:
- Death registration in Death Books, with the right to a Certificate. (The transcription of the registration to the Family Book is free): $ 10.00.
- Legalization of signature on Death Certificate not granted by the Consul, of a Bolivian person (original or photocopy): $ 15.00.
- Translation of Marriage Certificate not issued by the Consulate: $ 10.00
